The next issue of the Digithum journal will appear at the end of May 2007. This will be the journal's issue number 9, which we hope will continue to consolidate the process of renovation and improvement that began in previous issues.

With regards to these improvements, we have seen a progressive increase in the number of directories and databases, both local and international, that include the journal and allow for it to be consulted (they now number more than 20). For this reason, Digithum has achieved an ICDS (dissemination rating) of 3.845 (see MIAR, Model to Identify and Assess Journals) and the Editorial Board has produced a dossier for the AGAUR (University and Research Grant Management Agency) so as to be assessed and appear in the classification of academic journals that is to be published in the near future.

We also want to let people know that we are currently at work so that the journal can prepare a second dossier next year and, in the not too distant future, two complete issues each year.
